Apple's new product, which is only called iPad, finally gets a very necessary technology feature. Source 9TO5MAC claims Apple's basic level tablet will switch from the Lightning port to USB-C when launched in 2022.

This iPad will have a retina screen with the same 1640x2360 resolution as the iPad Air. However, support for high color quality and brightness will remain exclusive for more expensive tablets in Apple.

Even so, you can still connect directly to the monitor or other devices and increase the speed transfer speed of label. Apple will also complete the new iPad with the fourth generation A14 Bionic Air chip and introduce 5G support to cellular variants.

Not mentioned whether Apple will update the iPad design or not, including support for Magic Keyboard or Pencil second generation.

Basic iPad is the last model that uses lightning, home button, and other features that have existed for a decade or more. It is still unclear when this new cheap iPad will be introduced, but if it matches the Apple product launch schedule, the iPad appears at the iPhone launch event at the end of 2022. (*)
