Grok 3: Elon Musk's New AI That Claims to Outperform ChatGPT and DeepSeek
Elon Musk's xAI has officially launched Grok 3, an advanced AI model that is claimed to surpass ChatGPT and DeepSeek with superior reasoning capabilities and its next-generation search engine, Deep Search.
Introducing Grok 3 and Its Advantages
Elon Musk's company, xAI, has officially released its latest artificial intelligence model, Grok 3. This AI is claimed to outperform ChatGPT and DeepSeek based on initial testing in mathematics, science, and programming.
"We are thrilled to introduce Grok 3, which we believe is far more advanced than Grok 2," Musk stated during a live demonstration on X.
Deep Search: The Next-Gen Search Engine
xAI has also introduced a new product called Deep Search, designed as a next-generation search engine. Grok 3 is available to premium X subscribers in the U.S. and can also be accessed through a separate subscription for web and app versions.
Grok 3 AI’s Capabilities and Improvements
During the World Governments Summit in Dubai, Musk claimed that Grok 3 possesses high intelligence and strong reasoning abilities. This AI has been trained with a larger dataset and can self-evaluate its mistakes.
"Grok 3 has very strong reasoning capabilities, and in our testing, this AI outperforms all released models," said Musk.
Additionally, on the Chatbot Arena platform, Grok 3 has received higher rankings than its competitors. Musk emphasized that the model is still in beta and will continue to be refined.
xAI’s Commitment to AI Technology Development
xAI is building a massive data center in Memphis with over 200,000 GPUs dedicated to training Grok 3. The company was founded by Musk in 2023 to compete in the AI industry, particularly after tensions arose with OpenAI.
Previously, Musk co-founded OpenAI in 2015, but he has since criticized OpenAI's CEO, Sam Altman, arguing that the company has shifted its focus more toward profit rather than its original mission.
